File problems are often harder to explain than they need to be.
A file may refuse to open, upload, extract, or play for many different reasons. The extension may be wrong. A required internal part may be missing. The file may be incomplete, password-protected, or simply incompatible with a destination.
ARADURU focuses on the first useful question: what can we learn from the file itself? The goal is not to overwhelm you with technical terms. The goal is to give you a clear starting point and practical next steps.

Many modern file formats contain signatures, packages, metadata, XML, archive records, or media-container structures that can reveal useful clues about what a file really is and whether important parts are readable.

The current beta may load JavaScript libraries from third-party CDNs for certain format checks. The selected file is not sent to those library servers by ARADURU's current checkers.

ARADURU is being built as a practical diagnostic toolkit. The current version includes file-structure checks and upload-readiness checks for a growing set of common formats.
A healthy structure does not guarantee a perfect file.
ARADURU does not claim to prove that a file is safe, malware-free, fully recoverable, or guaranteed to work in every application. Each checker inspects a defined set of file-side signals and reports what those checks found.
- Keep the original file. Test repairs or conversions on a copy.
- Use trusted applications. Application-specific errors can provide additional clues.
- Get a fresh copy when needed. Incomplete downloads and transfers are common causes of file problems.
- Do not rename to convert. Changing an extension does not change the underlying file format.
