File Type Not Allowed?
When a destination says the type, format, or extension is not allowed, first confirm what the error actually says and what the file really is. Renaming an extension is not a conversion.
Unsupported type, invalid file type, extension not allowed, and file format not allowed are policy signals. They do not prove the file is corrupt.
Do not change the original file just to test a guess. Pick the closest situation and move to the matching ARADURU check.
After interpreting the wording, use File Check to compare the extension with the detected format when the type itself is in doubt.
Paste the exact wording shown by the destination
The checker classifies only strong wording and says when the message is too vague. The raw message is not added to ARADURU analytics.
What does this upload error point to?
Unsupported file type
Compare the destination policy with both the filename extension and the detected format.
Extension not allowed
Do not rename the file blindly; determine whether the content is genuinely another format.
The type looks correct
A mislabeled or damaged file can still disagree with the filename, so inspect the real format next.
A practical order before you retry
Preserve the exact type or extension wording from the destination.
Confirm the destination accepts the detected file type on that exact upload surface.
Use File Check when the filename and actual format may disagree.
Convert only when the destination genuinely requires a different format.
A type-policy message tells you what to verify before conversion
If the destination does not accept the actual file type, use a real supported conversion or another approved transfer path. If the type should be accepted, inspect mismatch or structural evidence before changing formats.
